MoMA rethinks architectural possibilities around foreclosures
“Foreclosed: Rehousing the American Dream,” a major initiative among five teams of architects contemplating how the built environment will evolve out of the recent housing crisis, will culminate in an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art opening Feb. 15. Led by principals at MOS Architects, Studio Gang, WORKac, Visible Weather, and Zago Architecture, the teams developed proposals to address the problem of foreclosures in five sites across the country. Models, drawings, renderings, animations, and analytical materials from those projects will be on display....
